@JE_Investing 100% I can relate to this...ive called the police so many times on mine, they go quiet for a few days then crash boom bang...the cycle continues.

Shaking with rage. My neighbours are serious idiots loud as all the time. Council compliant going through. Pure hell. Stuck here on a mortgage until we can afford the next house. Keep investing. Triple my efforts to get a better life.

@TradingRuppe Every time. The best opportunities always seem to show up a few days before payday. That's why I keep a small cash buffer ready for moments like this rather than staying fully invested. Anyone else do the same?

Cheers for sharing your entry levels, it's always interesting to see how other investors are thinking about valuation. Tesla is one of my highest conviction holdings, but I tend to average in over time rather than wait for one specific price. Are those buy levels based on technicals, valuation, or both?

@growthrapidly That's a solid risk/reward mindset. I already hold SoFi and like backing a small number of names I have real conviction in rather than chasing every potential double. Which of these gives you the most confidence over the next few years, not just the next 12 months??

@GuyTalksFinance There's definitely a fourth option: start early. Time in the market can do a lot of the heavy lifting, even if your income isn't huge. Which do you think has the biggest impact over a 20+ year period?

You can get rich one of three ways: 1. Get lucky gambling on single stocks 2. Get a high income earning job and buy index funds 3. Start a successful business Not many options besides that.

I've noticed the same. My reach seems to come in waves too, so I've stopped judging a post after a few hours. Consistency seems to matter more than any single day's numbers. Have you changed anything recently, or is this with the same posting cadence? I've only been here for 4 days heres mine.

Is this just how the X algorithm works? Had a great run over the last few days, but things seem to be slowing down. Curious if anyone else has noticed this lately?🤔

@RoaringHammy Boring portfolios are often the ones that quietly outperform over time. Mine's similar, with a couple of high-conviction positions alongside broad ETFs, so I don't feel the need to constantly chase the next hot stock. What does your portfolio look like these days?

@pepemoonboy Volatility is exhausting, but zooming out helps. The biggest returns usually come from staying invested through periods exactly like this. How are you handling it?

The market is tanking. These are the worst market conditions I’ve ever invested in. Extremely choppy, massive swings every other day, geopolitical uncertainty… I’m tired.

@starnes11 I agree the pullback creates opportunities, but for most people consistently buying quality beats trying to nail the perfect entry. Which of these are you highest conviction on for the next 5 years?

I only say this once. Don’t feel discouraged by the pullback. What matters is finding the right entry point. Here are my top stock picks: $MU — Buy Now $AVGO — Buy Now $NVDA — Buy Now $MRVL — Must Buy at $220 $QCOM — Must Buy at $178 $LRCX — Must Buy at $302 $AMAT — Must Buy at $555 $KLAC — Must Buy at $208 Don’t let a market pullback make you anxious. Opportunities are still out there. You just have to find them.

@ItsJamesHall I'd say it depends more on your savings rate than your salary. Plenty of people earn £100k and save nothing, while others on far less quietly build real wealth. What's your savings rate?

A £100k salary means you’re in the top 4% of earners in the UK. If £100k is still not enough, you have a spending problem. Agree or disagree?

@CandlePilot $ASML is hard to ignore at these levels if you're investing for the next decade. I added to my semiconductor ETF instead. Anyone else buying the picks and shovels rather than trying to pick the winners?

@steady_profits Nice trade. Taking a 35% profit and waiting patiently for the next setup is underrated. Which one on your watchlist has the highest conviction for you right now?

Following on from my earlier post, I decided to sell my position in Hikma Pharmaceuticals #HIK in the end after the price rose above 1700p for a profit of just over 35%. I actually hit the sell button when it was at 1712p, but got filled a second or two later at 1703p, which was quite annoying, and then had to watch it go all the way up to around 1750p. However it has since dropped all the way back to 1625p, which makes me feel a little better. One major benefit of selling this position is that I now have a decent cash balance of 8.8% in my eToro account, and I am looking forward to putting this to use when I see some decent opportunities. Some of the stocks I am watching at the moment are Brave Bison #BBSN on the UK market, and $ORCL, $CEG, $ONDS, $NBIS, $IREN, $MU, $RKLB and $ASTS on the US market. I'm also seriously considering taking a starter position in $SPCX if the price drops significantly below $150.

@alecscrypto1 Long term is the key part. If your thesis hasn't changed, a red week is usually just another buying opportunity. What's your average cost now?

@SixFigureRob Zooming out is one of the hardest investing skills to master. I stopped checking the 1D chart because it rarely changes my decisions. Anyone else mostly lives on the 1Y or 5Y view?

Take a moment to zoom out.. 🔍 The bigger picture is what we are all looking for.. so somedays it’s good to remind yourself of the overall picture.. 👏 Would you take being down £12 📉 in the past 7 days if it meant you were UP £226 in the last 90 days? 📈 I certainly would 🚀

@JGreenCrypto I used to try timing the dips, but it usually cost me more than it saved. Now I just keep buying and, if I've got spare cash, I buy a bit more. Has anyone actually managed to time a correction consistently?
