Strong night of development. We successfully migrated our database to Postgres and made several design improvements across the leaderboard and portfolio pages for a cleaner and smoother experience. We are currently working on resolving Polymarket API rate limit issues, implementing memecoin bundles and pods, and finalizing a fix for auto rebalancing along with a new toggle that lets users enable or disable it. Built a Polymarket trading bot last week using ClaudeDBot + AI agents — mainly as an experiment to see how far automation can push edge detection in prediction markets. 7 days in: +€16,000 PnL Here’s roughly what I did and why I think this space is still massively inefficient: Most participants in prediction markets trade emotionally, react to headlines, or anchor on crowd sentiment. Very few actually model probabilities dynamically or exploit information latency. That creates structural mispricings — especially during fast-moving narratives. I designed the bot around three core ideas: • Detect probability mispricing by comparing implied market odds with model-based estimates • React to information faster than human traders by processing event/news signals continuously • Scale positions based on conviction with strict downside caps instead of all-in directional bets The stack itself was intentionally lightweight — no overengineering: ClaudeDBot acts as the reasoning/decision layer Custom scripts handle data ingestion + execution Market feeds provide pricing/orderbook signals Automation layer manages sizing, logging, and risk constraints Nothing exotic. The edge comes from iteration speed and consistency, not complexity. What surprised me most wasn’t the return — it was how often markets drift away from rational pricing when volatility spikes. Humans hesitate. Agents don’t. This is still early-stage experimentation and not financial advice — but my takeaway is simple: Prediction markets are still operating at human speed.
