A2 Class 4-6-2 Pacific No. 2404 "CITY OF RIPON" These long parallel boiled locomotives were designed by Sir Vincent Raven. Built in March 1924 at Darlington works, she was one of five 'A2s' built, all were scrapped by the end of the 1930s having a very short life. 📸 H. M. Lane
