If you feel exhausted by a boss or colleague, & you know the situation isn’t going to change, then look for another job instead of wasting your valuable time around people who deplete your energy. #VentureCareer @CDNETng

You may want to take a personality test to know whether you will be much better doing some other jobs different from what you currently do. Finding what works for you is way better than looking miserable for most part of your day. #VentureCareer @CDNETng

If there are people around you who actually seem to enjoy the work you do not enjoy, ask them what they like about it. Ask about their best days and try to sincerely see your job from their perspective. #VentureCareer @CDNETng

Sometimes it could just be that you need some energy due to pressure on your brain. Taking snacks can boost your brain power after an exhausting afternoon. It also helps if you take a daily multivitamin & a vitamin B complex. #VentureCareer @CDNETng

When stuck on a problem or task, talking to a colleague to look at issues with a second pair of eyes can help you with fresh ideas or validate your thinking. #VentureCareer @CDNETng

Keeping a log of when you’re feeling stressed at work can help you identify some ways to reduce your stress. #VentureCareer @CDNETng

Identify the source of the energy drain? Too many hours? Stress? Emotional burn-out? #VentureCareer @CDNETng

Take a mental break and take a quick stroll around. This helps you maintain your concentration on the task at hand. #VentureCareer @CDNETng

You may be able to maintain a sub-optimal state for long periods of time but you will be less productive overall and tend to make more mistakes. #VentureCareer @CDNETng

Take short 5 minute breaks every 25 minutes. You may think that would decrease your productivity but it actually increases it. @CDNETng #VentureCareer

You will notice that you get less tired if you do meditation of about 10–15 minutes a day around lunch time. It's like a powernap. #VentureCareer @CDNETng
