The Churston debating team comprising Lucas, Izzy, Genny and Emory took part in the second round of the English Speaking Union's Mace Debating competition. We unfortunately missed going through to the Regional Final by a narrow margin. #CFGS #debate

The U15 girls cricket team finished a fantastic season by becoming Devon champions! Unbeaten in the hardball cup competition, the girls went from strength to strength with some outstanding performances. Well done girls! Mr Skelly. #CFGS #cricket

It was a big moment for our Year 11 students as they received their mock GCSE results recently! This was an important step in their journey, helping them reflect on their progress, identify areas for improvement, and set goals for the final stretch. #CFGS #mockexamresults

Our Year 8 girls travelled to Millfield to play in an invitational tournament, where they were up against a selection of private schools. They held their own and played some very successful Netball, finishing third out of 10 schools. #CFGS #netball

Year 11's trip to see Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde at Torquay's Princess Theatre was a great success this week. Students enjoyed seeing the classic story on stage and explored ideas about the duality of man. #CFGS #english

Last week, our Running Club took on a 2.7-mile route around Churston, making the most of the glorious afternoon sunshine! It was the perfect way to get some fresh air, stay active, and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. #CFGS #runningclub

Churston Ferrers U15’s netball team delivered an exceptional performance in the State Schools Qualifiers, remaining undefeated throughout the afternoon. With this dominant performance, Churston Ferrers U15’s have now qualified for the South West Finals in March. #CFGS #netball

Our Year 7 students have been busy whipping up delicious and healthy 3-ingredient flapjacks in their Food Technology class! Using just bananas, oats, and dark chocolate chips, they created a snack that’s both nutritious and tasty. #CFGS #foodtech
