@chilternscricke @DenhamCC Really sad to hear the news of Bobby. Some of us went to school with Bobby, others have played against him since our colts days, a larger than life character for sure, we all enjoyed playing against him. RIP Bobby

We are saddened to receive the news that Bobby Rai of @DenhamCC has passed away. We are asking all @chilternscricke clubs to observe a minute's silence before games this Saturday as a mark of respect.

@pezzaspurs @GwynneMP @OnlyJohnGwynne People attended our dinners just to hear his voice in person! Always generous with his time and had many great contacts come and speak at our dinners.

His hosting of our annual Sports dinners was a huge draw and he helped enormously with raising much needed funds each year for the club as well as donating from his own pocket. RIP Gwynnie

Thoughts are with the family of Nobby Stiles who, after a prolonged illness, has died. I had the pleasure of working with him many times on the after-dinner circuit, often travelling together. He was a little gem, a one-off who will be sorely missed. #WorldCupLegend #RIP
