Last week, I remember triaging one patient wey come in with recurrent sore throat and fever as a “2”. Some of my colleagues were surprised. I told them say there’s risk of rapid airway compromise.
Boom, after dem do CT, massive tonsillar abscess was discovered. ENT had to rush the patient in that night to drain am.
My respect from my team increased that day.
