@brookepintodc I’m a ward 2 resident that applied for coverage through DC health link on 2/26 but haven’t received any info to make our first payment. @CareFirst says they haven’t even received an application from DC. Is there anyone who can help? I’ve already had to miss drs appointments

The deadline is midnight tonight to get enrolled in a DC health care plan! Please make sure you and your loved ones are enrolled. You can come by Ben's Chilli Bowl tonight until midnight, or can do it online at dchealthlink.com or you can call their hotline at 855-532-5465. Nothing is more important than your health and safety. Get covered, DC!

@CareFirst is your system down? When I go to the benefits detail page, all links say this benefit is not covered. Summary of benefits and coverage takes me to a page that says “Online access to the Summary of Benefits and Coverage for your plan is not available at this time.”

@CareFirst Not one person can explain why my daughter’s limitless, in-network, covered PT has suddenly stoped being covered. I shouldn’t be on the hook for $2K for covered services.

@CareFirst #deny as a professor who teaches US healthcare insurance , I see firsthand it is impossible to get information on denied claim for something medically necessary. no luck with call numbers or website. I’d like to talk to a real person. apparently not an option.

So CareFirst denied my refill request for MYFEMBREE even though I’ve been on the drug for more than a year. There are no other drugs that treat uterine fibroids so switching isn’t an option. I have 4 pills left and will ration them for now, but any advice would be appreciated 🥲

@CareFirst I'm shopping for insurance and can't get a straight answer. Are pregnancy/childbirth (obstetrics, radiology, labor/delivery, neonatology, etc.) at VHC Health (aka Virginia Hospital Center) covered by BlueChoice Advantage POS and/or BlueChoice Advantage CDHP w/ HSA?

.@CareFirst has me going in a customer service loop. "We don't handle this, call BCBS Global Core" and then BCBS says "We don't handle this, call them back." So I'm going to physically mail a copy of my claim to both addresses and one of them better figure out what's going on
