The situation is not good, my friends.😢 We need to get out of here, we need to be allowed to live in safety and we deserve to have access to food and medicine to survive.🙏🙏💔 What is going to happen to us all? I'm scared, donations are much weaker than they were before the ceasefire, but the conditions are becoming just as bad as they were before. 🥺😭There's less organizations and nothing is free to anyone now. I am grieving for what should be my children's childhood.🥺 I try not to let my daughter see most of the terrible things, but she knows the sound of shots, tanks and rockets, and she's grown with the sounds of drones constantly in her ears. She knows too much the feeling of hunger, and she understands the fear of death at only age 3. My son has only experienced peace for a couple of hours in his life.💔💔💔 Do they not deserve a better life than this, my friends? Don't we all? I am so proud of my daughter when she wants to help me with feeding the cats and I hope it brings her happiness too.🫂 She loves animals, although some of them act unpredictable which makes her scared. She is always gentle, my friends. 🌿🕊😢We have only barely recovered from the most horrific night last night, my dear friends, I was feeling very shaken this morning and I've not had any sleep for a while now. Instead of the calm and thoughtful time we had hoped for, we are now subjected to hours of horror throughout the night, from Iftar they begin their relentless bombardment and we are constantly scared for our lives. It's no way to live, my dear friends, I hate what they are doing to us and I truly do not know how much of this we can take. I think I speak for much of my family and many friends when I say that we are completely worn down, my dear ones, and it's hard to keep hope when so much is up against us. Still, it's important we do not give up and I will always be brave for the sake of my wife and children. Spending time with my cats and our happy puppy always uplifts my heart, and it would truly make things easier for me and less worrying if you could help me with the terrible costs I am facing to feed them, my wonderful friends. The food we bought can only last so long, and then it will be difficult to afford any more without your significant help. Would you be so kind to help us, my dear friends? Our close friends in the cruelty free camp are suffering through hell alongside us; they are going through starvation and living in unbearable conditions in the tents, all while living under bombardment and targeting. 🫂💚🌿I have just returned from another round of treatment from the dentist, my dear wonderful friends, it hurts a great deal but I wanted to write to you urgently so that you see my words as soon as possible. I'm sorry to say that there's no real improvement here; the days are more difficult than the previous one, and the prices are only increasing as supplies dissappear. People everywhere are becoming increasingly worried and anxious and it feels like it will not be long until there are fights for supplies and desperate people will be forced to take horrible risks to try to survive. I want to warn you urgently, my friends, things could quickly become even worse than they were before. There's fewer organisations able to operate now, and there's less money available now in circulation which only makes things much more difficult. Things like a single egg or a bag of rice enough for one family can cost everything a family has, my dear friends, and then they are left with nothing. Can you understand the desperation in my words? Things are becoming bad, very fast. I'm worried for our animals, and the stray ones who live on the streets. There's less food around, which means they have less food to find or be given. Our own supply of pet food will not last very long, and our puppy eats a lot as she is growing older. I will pay any amount to try to buy them more, my friends, but I desperately need your help if I am to manage. I've no idea how much more it might cost this time, but I hope that we will manage the costs. I won't lie to you, I've accumulated debt to pay for food for our animals and to continue to pay the families in our cruelty free camp. I give them everything I can so they can give their children and families a good chance. My cousin Mo and I take time to sit with them and talk to them often, my friends, and they truly need you very badly right now. Everything is becoming much more difficult for all of us here, but I hope and trust in you to help us through, my dear wonderful friends.
