Cougars go on the road and come away with a clutch 1-0 win over Lenape in opening round of the playoffs. Michael Fekete was dominant on the mound, tossing six brilliant innings and giving up just two hits. Austin Hanni took over in the 7th and shut the door to seal the victory!

@MichaelFekete27 Fekete has been phenomenal all year! Poised and in command of all his pitches. Dictates the pace of the game and keeps hitters off balance and guessing. He continues to be a standout for Cherry Hill East Baseball!

Played a great game today in the Woodstown Lee Ware tournament. Pitched a complete game with 13 strikeouts and also got my 100th strikeout of my high school career. I have been consistently 88-90 through the entire season while also being able to throw my curveball, change up and slider for strikes. @CoachChristianL @PRDBaseball @ChEastBaseball

East won the Lee Ware Tournament 7-1 over Camden Catholic and 4-1 over Washington Township. Tristan Perry and Mike Fekete both got wins with Fekete getting his 100th Career K in his sophomore season. Dillon Haddock hit a 3-run HR in the championship game to secure the win!
