أنا لله و إنّا إليه راجعون و لا حول ولا قوة إلا بالله انتزع مني الموت اليوم واحداً من أعز وأحب خلق الله اليَّ ، فهو في منزلة أبي و أمي فضلاً و إحساناً ، و أدين له بالكثير في طفولتي و شبابي و إلى يومي هذا . إنه حبة القلب و توأم الروح الأخ وابن العم ثابت بن سلطان الذي اختاره الله إلى جواره صباح هذا اليوم . هكذا عرفته أنا ، أما الناس فقد عرفوا فيه الاستقامة و التقوى و الكرم و حب الخير و طيب الخلق . إلى عليين يا أبا عبدالله مع الصديقين والشهداء و الصالحين بإذنه تعالى .
