Intravitreal injections deliver medication directly into the vitreous humour (the liquid inside the eye) to treat diseases affecting the retina and macula. They help reduce swelling, stop abnormal blood vessel growth, and prevent leakage or bleeding at the back of the eye. 💉👁️
