Dennis McClendon, who created one of Chicago's most iconic and useful guides: the color-coded map of the CTA’s L lines, has died at 67 from complications of cancer. He was a highly skilled cartographer and part of an elite group of Chicago history buffs. trib.al/v38CZ0k

@adamselzer @robertloerzel Imaging software at where I think @adamselzer is is 10+ years old. Scanners to the left have Adobe. Pros and cons

@robertloerzel @ChiCollections Maybe! Seems to happen no matter what I put the settings at. I can edit the photos into shape, which is the main reason I scan at all vs just taking pics of the screen to get the text.

Any theories as to why a scan would behave like this? I zoom in a little and it gets all stippled (often way worse than this screen recording), even when zoomed back. Driving me crazy!
