@Jpncamerahunter You’re clearly wrong there mate, who else would do butt dials in our group? It’s always good when we get to see your slightly confused face 😘

@GrahamR_H Hi Graham. My email is Steve@Chroma.Camera Happy to help with the options 👍🏻

@ChromaCamera
Hi Steve.
How can I contact you please to find out more into about the Chroma 6x12 , the freshal glass and the correct lens, the choice of fitting and types seem mind boggling. thank you.
English

@letmestayon No problem, although the cutout that it fits into on the rear door is the same size as the box tab from your film, so is also used for that.
English

@ChromaCamera Hello, I am Daniel Lee( e.riny@eriny.net ). Please, cancel my order #1780. I confused between Schneider 90mm F6.8 and F5.6. I want to order Six:9 with Schneider 90mm F5.6. Is it possible?
English

@letmestayon Thank you, I'll get it built up as soon as possible.
English

@ChromaCamera I ordered Six:17 - Rodenstock Grandagon 90mm f6.8. Thanks.
English

@letmestayon Sorry for the confusion, I clearly need more coffee! There is an early version of the 90/5.6 lens that has a 60mm diameter rear element (that will fit on my cameras) but I haven't seen many of those around.

English

@ChromaCamera Previously, I saw the lens in list of Six:12 purchase. Is that different lens?

English

@letmestayon The issue is the diameter of the rear element on the lens rather than the camera itself. The largest helicoids I can source have a 72mm internal diameter but the Schneider lens has an 86mm diameter rear element so it can't physically fit.
English

@letmestayon As with all large format/ground glass focused cameras, the glass should be shaded with a dark cloth/tshirt/jacket to give a brighter image
English

@letmestayon The camera in my video has a 75mm f5.6 lens mounted, with the aperture wide open. The camera was also inside a dark workshop pointing out at a bright scene outside.
English

@ChromaCamera The "ground glass" is so opaque and dull that it feels almost impossible to focus. It feels like it's hard to even see the image. I wonder if it's possible to make a "ground glass" that's a little brighter.
English

@FredBertsDay Hi. It did post ok, I replied with the link to my standard 4x5 wet plate holder 👍🏻 I’ve got the holder built up and ready to ship for you whenever you’re ready
English

@ChromaCamera Hi I’m not sure my earlier reply went through! It’s for an intrepid camera - which should I look at? & would the double dry plate holder work too?
English

@ChromaCamera Hiya, I’ve just seen there are two, this is for the intrepid with Graphlok back which would be required please?
English

@FredBertsDay No problem, that would be a standard 4x5 wet plate holder. It fits beneath the ground glass like a standard sheet film holder.
