I'm fired up after three incredible days hosting the Tahoe Freeride comps at Palisades—the next generation of rippers has absolute fire in their bellies, and the #StokeLevels were highly contagious. The Situation: The Inversion Excursion We are locked in a High-Pressure scenario, and things are officially "Upside Down." • Valley Floor: A chilly 12ºF (South Lake Tahoe). • The Ridge: A balmy 45ºF (Kirkwood Chair 6). The Skiing & Riding Intel: The warm air up top means spring vibes are creeping in, but winter is holding strong if you know where to look. • The Goods: North-facing slopes (like Oly Lady and KT) are still skiing well with mid-winter snow. • The Groomers: On-piste is riding fantastic—early birds get the #FreshCord and the best off-piste "carvable-schmoo." • The Watch-Out: Sun-affected zones are getting a little "manky" late in the day, and ridge winds will be cranking (E/NE gusts) this afternoon.
