Want something like this today... Quite strong but several fringe players. If some of these players don't get a chance in Carabao cup during internationals, when will they?
Team I'd play on Sunday. Formation seems the best to fit the 2 strikers & Palmer in. Eliasson unlucky to miss out but without a big striker I feel his crossing would be wasted. Massengo needs a rest but we have nobody else fit.
Things learnt from tonight... Taylor Moore has to play next to Kalas in he league moving forward. Wright is so far out of his depth and shouldn’t be anywhere near the first team. Massengo has some real class about him, looks bright and innovative, still raw though.
Brave effort from #BristolCity tonight. Yes, soft penalty given on Walsh. Although personally I thought the Adam Nagy one before it was a penalty, however. Lot of positives though - great goals one - with plenty of the young players impressing. #QPRBRCbristolpost.co.uk/sport/football…
@Vincent_bcfc Thought he protected the ball so well, done a couple of really quick turns, and passing was generally pretty good. Think a midfield 3 of him, Nagy & Brownhill would be very effective.
Good opportunity for the new players to gel, so would be good to keep the core of the team consistent whilst also introducing a few fringe players. Would be great for Afobe to get off the mark. Excited to see Massengo. COYR
@BCFC_Supporters@bbcbristolsport I heard yesterday from a guy who works for Cardiff that the fee was £3.25m. Obviously thought he’d got it wrong when it was reported as £750k. Probably makes a bit more sense why we sold him now.
It’s the end of an era.
Marlon Pack, who joined Bristol City in 2013, is now a Cardiff player.
BBC Radio Bristol understands Cardiff spent in the region of £4million on the 28 year old.
