🔥 The Weight I No Longer Carry 🔥 There was a time in my life when I didn’t care about consequences. Not for myself... and not for anyone else. I lived by the motto, “I’ll try anything once.” And I did. I chased experiences. I made reckless choices. I hurt people I cared about. I ignored warning signs and convinced myself I could outrun the damage. For a while, I thought I was free. But eventually, life has a way of presenting the bill. There was a season when the weight of my past felt unbearable. The regrets were heavy. The shame was real. I would replay old memories in my mind and wish I could go back and make different choices. But healing didn’t come from pretending those chapters never happened. It came from facing them. Little by little, I stopped running. I looked at every part of my story... the good, the bad, and everything in between. And as I did, something unexpected happened. The shame began to lose its grip. I realized that every mistake had something to teach me. Every failure carried a lesson. Every scar became proof that I survived, learned, and kept moving forward. Today, I don’t hide from my story. I own it. Not because I’m proud of every choice I made, but because those choices helped shape the person I am today. The past no longer controls me because I’ve already walked through it, accepted it, and made peace with it. So if someone wants to bring up who I used to be... go ahead. I’ve already had that conversation with myself. And maybe, just maybe, there’s something in that story that can help someone else find their way home too. ZF 🔥
