Candidates: how often have you heard “We’ll revisit the offer” → “Position is on hold”? Curious if this is common or just my luck.

Honest question to recruiters & hiring managers: If a candidate asks to revisit an offer, does the role usually go “on hold” — or is it just a polite pause?🤔

If a company likes your work, negotiation won’t break the offer. Silence and clarity matter more than numbers.
