REPUBLIC OF BALOCHISTAN; EID MESSAGE
Dated: 27-28 May, 2026
Today, while some parts of the world celebrate Eid Al Adha on the 27th of May and others observe it on the 28th, humanity gathers in sacrifice and devotion. Yet while much of the world offers the sacrifice of animals, the people of Balochistan continue to sacrifice their lives, their wealth, and their future in defense of their homeland, their coastlines, and their natural resources. During these sacred days of Eid, our mothers still endure the agonizing wait for the return of their sons and daughters languishing in enemy torture chambers; our children continue to battle deadly diseases, and our land remains burdened by the scars of nuclear radiation.
Twenty-eight years ago, on the 28th of May 1998, the occupying state of Pakistan carried out six nuclear explosions in the Ras Koh region of Chaghai, forever condemning our homeland to generations of suffering and radioactive devastation. Since that dark day, cancer, skin diseases, infertility among livestock, poisoned lands, and environmental destruction have spread across our beloved Balochistan. The very land from which Pakistan and China continue to ruthlessly extract gold, copper, and countless natural resources has been abandoned under the shadow of nuclear contamination. Our people were left without justice, without protection, and without even the most basic safeguards against radiation.
For seventy-eight years, the Baloch nation has stood with unmatched courage and sacrifice against occupation. Our martyrs gave their lives without hesitation, and our families sacrificed their comfort, wealth, and dignity, because no nation attains freedom without sacrifice. Every drop of blood shed by our sons and daughters has strengthened the foundation of our struggle. Today, through these sacrifices, the voice of a free Balochistan rises before the world with honor, determination, and unwavering resolve. We call upon the international community to recognize the independence of Balochistan and to stand beside our nation in defense of justice, freedom, and human dignity.
My brave people,
For the past twenty-six years, many among you have spent your Eids searching for your loved ones, demanding justice, and protesting against the genocide of our people in streets, press clubs, rallies, and demonstrations. Thousands of Baloch sons spent their Eids inside Pakistan’s dark prison cells, while countless others sacrificed their lives so that future generations of Baloch may one day celebrate Eid in peace, dignity, and freedom. Yet despite unimaginable suffering, your resolve never weakened, nor did your determination ever falter. Today, the Baloch freedom and defense forces are achieving historic victories against Pakistan’s occupying military. The enemy has completely failed in its attempts to crush the aspirations of our people. Pakistan’s forces are collapsing in their efforts to sustain their illegal occupation of our homeland, because the spirit of a nation fighting for freedom can never be defeated.
On this Eid, the Republic of Balochistan extends its heartfelt greetings and congratulations to every member of the Baloch nation across the world. We appeal to our people to dedicate special prayers during Eid gatherings for the success of the Baloch freedom fighters, for the safe return and immediate release of our prisoners, and for the final victory of the Baloch national liberation movement.
In this struggle, the courage demonstrated by Baloch mothers, sisters, and daughters has become a symbol of national pride and honor. A movement in which women stand shoulder to shoulder with men in the struggle for freedom is a movement that no power on earth can defeat.
Today, more than ever before, we call upon every Baloch leader, every freedom-loving individual, every intellectual, every mother, every elder, and every young person to strengthen unity, solidarity, and national discipline within our ranks. Our enemies seek to divide us, but we shall never be divided.
With complete faith and conviction, we tell our nation that the day is not far when the world will formally recognize the independence of Balochistan. The flag of a free and sovereign Balochistan has already risen before the world, and our homeland shall take its rightful place among the nations of the world as a recognized and independent state.
May this Eid become a message of resistance, dignity, selflessness, sacrifice, and the dawn of freedom for our beloved Balochistan. Our independent is declared, we are a free country and our fight now is to get the world to recognize our freedom. The independent Balochistan is the key to global peace and harmony.
Sincerely,
The Republic of United Balochistan
