Farcaster gets interesting when you look at what people build with it. it’s a corner of the internet where new things get tested before they make sense anywhere else. that means some of it looks like inside baseball from the outside. most new internet behavior does at first. the important part is that people here actually try the early stuff. they use it, argue about it, improve it and keep going long enough for the weird thing to become obvious. that character took years to cultivate. you cannot manufacture it and you cannot recover it once it is gone. we are still figuring out exactly what comes next, but the starting point is simple: don’t break what’s working. make it easier for people here to put new things into the world, find their first curious users, get sharp feedback, and meet others willing to play with weird early ideas. if Farcaster becomes the place people go when they want to try something before the rest of the internet knows what to do with it, that would be a great outcome.
Soon (very soon), we’ll be airdropping 2,026 CoinHero OG Premium Member Genesis Passes to our top 2,026 users across the @CoinHeroFun ecosystem. These passes will be Soulbound NFTs -> non-transferable membership cards tied to the wallets that earned them. They’re for the players who have been ripping packs on @ripsapp, dropping balls on @Plinks_App, showing up, and adding real value to the network. Why are we doing this? When we launched RIPS, we made a decision: Our marketing budget should go back to the users helping grow the ecosystem. That started with Daily Free Packs. Then came positive EV Boosted Packs. The intent was always community first. But over time, we noticed something: Extractive farmers were taking advantage of these perks without adding value back to the network, sometimes at the expense of our real users. That changes now. Going forward, Free Packs, Boosted Packs, and future premium content will be gated and only available to holders of the CoinHero Membership Pass. The first 2,026 Soulbound passes will carry **OG Status** and be classified as Genesis Passes. As new users enter the network, purchase packs, play games, and contribute value, we’ll issue additional Membership Passes, separate from the original 2026 drop and without the OG badge. Since then, both our teams have been building around a similar idea: gamified distribution. Helping projects get their tokens in front of users through fun, lightweight, engaging game experiences.
