This week, federal agents raided the offices of the Ohio Organizing Collaborative, a group that registers voters in communities across the state. Color Of Change stands fully with the Ohio Organizing Collaborative against this intimidation.

Organizing, truth-telling, and refusing to give in matter. We continue Evers’ fight in every battle against voter suppression, every demand for accountability, in every courtroom, ballot box, and hearing, even when the odds are against us. We continue this fight. We won’t stop.

States wasted no time at dismantling Black representation after the Supreme Court gutted the Voting Rights Act. This is strategic. There’s a reason why they're afraid of the Black voting power. When we organize, we are democracy’s most reliable engine for progress.

There are 19 congressional seats at risk of being erased, and the detrimental implications will be exponential – in our schools, in our healthcare, in our housing infrastructures.
