Let me tell you. In a production environment as a salary employee you are usually in charge. That means that your production must meet goals (basically just get the product to the customers). Usually no problem to have a 40 hour work week when everything is smoothe. However, when that machine goes down, or an asshole calls off, the customers are still waiting. Your job is to make sure customers get that product. Better plan a weekend. Machines only move so fast and people only can work so fast. You have no idea what a real salary position means. Mr Sales
