@sujithrao @Carl_Nwakakwa Who gives a crap about CNN? Their ratings are in the tank. I want good movies...something Hollywood has provided very few of in recent years. Skydance had a lot of good movies under their belt, Skydance bought Paramount. That's a good thing.

@Grimiio You literally don't have to because most superhero characters have existed for decades in animated series, TV shows, and multiple feature film franchises. You can never read a comic and be a fan of the cinematic version of many characters. Stop being dumb.

@JTAlexander_ Nowadays the pipeline from "everyone is watching" to "nobody recommends it" doesn't even last the full show. Stranger Things couldn't finish before falling off in a big way. Westworld, The Witcher, The Last of Us, Fallout. Early hype quickly dissolved into apathy each time.

Game of Thrones is remarkable because it had a complete stranglehold on pop culture for a decade, and literally overnight everyone that had been recommending it for years suddenly stopped mentioning it ever again.

Saying this is like seeing a girl who loves the idea of a man "paying for everything, covering the bills, bought you a new car, vacation planned" and saying "oh girls just want a another dad rather than an actual boyfriend."
