@Drtre81 GamePass Day 1 titles gotta GO. Maybe a few a year, fine, but most massive 1st party console exclusives should arrive a year or three later.

If xbox would have had faith in all those studios they bought up 7 years ago...didnt cancel highly anticipated games and not try to become the new Netflix with their gamepass experiment they would be fine right now.

@AllyWired @XboxTimdog If they can get Arzest on board and team them up with another studio that be great. They're composed of former Sonic Team/Artoon members, the latter being the original developers for Blinx.

Shocked but I would say more mad It’s lovely watching everyone lose their minds but believe it or not this is what needed to happen. It was almost too far gone but they really are gonna get this going and get Xbox healthy. I’m excited for the future but I’m intelligent enough to understand that the reset is going to include all of this. Just hoping these studios are transfer to independent rather than cancelled It’s pretty clear what ASHA wants. Big recognizable IP that they let unleash the studios and do not restrict them. That’s what I see Also she wants exclusives and she wants to battle. This is how a normal competitive company operates. The speed is noticeable

@Smaffl15161175 @Eldonchorizo_ That would require them to be up for sale/auction which we know MSoft would never do as theyre still licensing out Banjo and Conker merch despite the lack of games. Would also require N to be interested in the IPs, which we know they really arent (werent back then either)

If Microsoft shuts down Rare I hope Nintendo can buy back the Banjo, Perfect Dark and Jet force Gemini IPs from them.

@Crucheco Zelda games don't have to be one static thing but there are elements that make up why Zelda games are so good, and TotK lacked those elements.

@Crucheco @DJWarnerStage Genuinely foul take. Ride Mineru’s construct to the spirit temple in the pitch dark. 1/3rd of the game world is pitch dark and unfun. As a lifelong Zelda lover it stinks. It’s worse than Skyward Sword.

Mario Galaxy 2, Hollow Knight Silksong, Uncharted Lost Legacy, GTA Vice City all started as DLC that, just like TotK, were EXPANDED into sequels.

Especially with how Gerudo Desert and Death Mountain were changed. Quit larping. The map is the same world with subtle expansions + the two layers.

TotK's amazing reviews didn't magically materialize. Its a game that resonated with many players and critics for a reason.

@Supersloppy4 @DJWarnerStage Oh, and to get technical as a Mario Karthead, 7 and 8 might share mechanics but their gameplay feel is entirely different. Id even argue 8 is a lesser experience than 7 despite being more content rich and a better value overall.
