Benzema has to be the most overrated strikers of the 21st century. He spent the majority of his career as a slightly above-average striker and doesn’t belong in the same tier as the elite forwards of his generation. That one Ballon d’Or when most top strikers of that generation were past their peaks doesn’t put him above them.
He’s a tier below Kane, Suarez, Lewandowski, and Rooney.
