The Referee visited the monitor he could clearly see the incident.
Why did he not over rule the VAR and stick with his call.
Training in the use of VAR is lacking and clearly needs a revisit.

@1966MJG I thought Marco was remarkably - and commendably - restrained yesterday. Just a thought: had he verbally or even physically attacked the ref, then apologised, would that be it? (Course not!) The implementation of VAR is appalling. So appalling that some might say it’s by design!

@FulhamishPod @DrewHeatley David is such a gentleman. I played football with Dave many years ago for Broomfield (he was into his mid-50s) and he was a proper, proper player. Not to mention he is someone that inspired me to write when I was a teenager. His dedication to TOOFIF is everlasting.

32 today. 12 years sober, which started because of ongoing health issues, but now I don't drink because of my ADHD meds.
