A Note: @DailyRobbins will be taking an extended break. After the last Twitter update (two years worth of drafts—500+ quotes, facts, photos, etc.) were erased; the majority of which took months to fact check, find sources, gain approval, curate... 🧵⬇️

@colonel_aronson @TwitterSupport @Twitter I feel you. I had over 500+ saved drafts. Some of them were facts that took me hours, weeks, months to confirm and tweak. All of it gone. I'm taking a little break from this project bc if things are going to be this dicey, I need to figure out if it's worth my time.

@TwitterSupport @Twitter The latest Android update (auto-installed an hour ago) has completely erased my drafts folder and saved searches. Any information or ability to downgrade an update to revert to a previous version or way to restore local files??

@ibekelseyw In theory? Yes. That's a solid idea. But I checked and my phone doesn't have any previous versions of Android backed up. But.... that could potentially be a solution for anyone whose phone does.

@DailyRobbins I'm not super tech savvy, but ik my phone backs up each day. Could you revert your phone back to yesterday's backup? It won't help me since my phone wrote over yesterday's backup at 2am this morning (about 30 mins after the Twitter auto update installed where I lost it all)

@ibekelseyw It really breaks my heart... I run this Twitter handle as a dedicated project to an author (quotes, facts, photos, video, interviews) and I had over 500+ saved drafts that I spent months researching, curating, and queuing... 😔

@DailyRobbins I will! But unfortunately on our end I doubt there's anything we can do. Seems like this isn't an isolated incident for Twitter. The only thing I've maybe found is to could roll back to factory settings (aka the way it was when first installed) but I'm not even sure that'd help

@ibekelseyw If you happen to find a way to rollback or revert, could you keep me posted? And I can do the same... have been Googling options for a couple hours now.

@willjfawley Yep, definitely remember it—was the closest thing to a "website" he ever had, albeit unofficial. But I hadn't visited it in years. Wish it was still around, it would make gathering source material much easier lol.

@DailyRobbins Thanks! Also, since you’re sharing the Robbins love, do you remember a website called the AFTRlife that archived a bunch of Robbins info, images, etc? I used to check it regularly but it seems to have vanished.
