@andye486 Not great is it. Very slow watch. Not a great deal happens.

@Iancroll1 In classic football fan fashion I wrote him off again 5 mins before his goal as “absolutely woeful” and then sung his name when he scored. Was a really smart finish

@cho120900 They probably could charge £20 a pint after a win like that. But honestly the prices in the ground aren’t horrendous

@HowardParr3 @Everton Imagine being bothered that the club are making money because you watched our golden era

@Everton Is this what it's come to?
49 yrs ago today, I watched EFC for the 1st time
Pearson, Latchford et al
Highs and lows I'll never forget
Shared these memories with mum, dad, sis, uncles, cousin, mates, daughter and son.
And now we're to get excited about sauce?
Game's gone... our club?

£47.5m is more than double Everton's breach that led to a Premier League record sanction of 10 points being deducted (it was recalculated to 6 on appeal)
While this is a different charge, the commission said EFC "gained no sporting advantage" but still agreed a deduction.

Chelsea "blatantly cheated and still have the trophies to show for it"
There might be logic to the Premier League's decision given the new ownership self-reported but the outcome overlooks what it's actually about - putting on fair competition
