🚨WARNING TO MY FRIENDS IN UTAH! Imagine this innocent-looking photo: A friendly doctor from Illinois smiles beside one of the highest leaders of the Mormon Church, President Dallin H. Oaks of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. They’re in Salt Lake City. The doctor proudly presents an award and photos from his group’s “humanitarian work” in Gaza and Syria. It looks like a beautiful moment of interfaith kindness and charity. But dig deeper, and the story turns dark. The doctor is Dr. Zaher Sahloul, founder of MedGlobal. He has boasted of knowing President Oaks since 2012. Tax records show the Church’s own LDS Charities has given hundreds of thousands of dollars directly to MedGlobal, including over $1.9 million in a single year. Here’s the problem: most people don’t know. MedGlobal works closely with Hamas authorities in Gaza. They’ve publicly promised to partner with Gaza’s Hamas-run “Ministry of Health” and advertise in Hamas-linked media. Sahloul previously led a radical mosque in Illinois with documented ties to Hamas-support networks. He has also been photographed with senior figures tied to Al-Qaeda’s Syrian branch. Hamas is a U.S.-designated terrorist group. And it doesn’t stop with MedGlobal. A separate Salt Lake City charity run by senior Mormons (Globus Relief) has sent at least $119 million in aid, much of it medical supplies, to troubling Islamic organizations between 2013 and 2023. $64 million alone went to Islamic Relief, a group whose leaders have partnered directly with Hamas officials in Gaza (even after October 7) and whose branches have been flagged by multiple governments for Muslim Brotherhood and terror ties. Millions more flowed to other groups with histories of funding Hamas fronts, praising jihad, and spreading anti-Semitism. The official LDS Church has also partnered with several of these same networks. When “charity” money and supplies end up supporting groups that work hand-in-glove with Hamas and other extremists, you’re not just feeding civilians, you’re quietly subsidizing terrorism and Islam under the banner of compassion. This photo isn’t just a nice interfaith moment. It’s visual proof of how millions in well-meaning Mormon donations have flowed toward networks that backed terrorists.
