Yes. He hides how deeply he still longs to be seem, a need because of growing up in a family where the affection felt uncertain. He learned to bury that hunger under pride and independence, telling himself he doesn’t need what he was never given.
Yet beneath it all, there’s a quiet ache to be loved without conditions, something he rarely admits even to himself.

# Trevor believes he is defined by his refusal to being useless, no matter how many times life tears through him. He built himself on survival mode, learning early that nothing is given and everything can be taken without warning. What marks him most is that he keeps going anyway, even when the current version of himself he becomes is harder to recognize.
