Machete fight breaks out in Dewsbury town centre this evening A group was thrashing machetes about in front of horrified shoppers on Foundry Street in Dewsbury town centre this evening. Police helicopter circled overhead as armed officers rushed to the scene. West Yorkshire police in a statement said: At 3.27pm officers were called to Foundry Street in Dewsbury to reports people were fighting in the street with machetes.
