Developing a personal development book for students in UK schools was long overdue. Here are a few things that helped me get it done over Easter. 1. Flow - I dedicated a block of time to focus on writing the book, which allowed me to get in a creative flow. Once I started, it was done in less than 2 weeks. 2. Experience - I have worked in education for over 26 years and know the barriers young people face relating to their growth and the challenges staff face with addressing these needs. I used this knowledge to shape the content and core messages. 3. Pipeline - I know what it takes to write, publish, make for sale, market, and deliver books from start to finish. There were no barriers to me getting this done. Is there something you would love to write about, but haven't created the time and space yet?

Mid-Year Reflection: Progress or Excuses? Here we are, halfway through the year, and I'm facing a crucial question: Has it been six months of progress or six months of excuses? Every day has been a chance to move closer to my goals or to stay where I am. The choices I've made so far, whether big or small, have started to shape my year. I know that making progress doesn't mean being perfect, but it does mean taking action. I'm challenging myself to push past barriers instead of letting them stop me.
