Disaster Legal Help

Our Disaster Legal Help phoneline hours have changed to Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm. To speak to someone about your legal issues and ongoing support call Disaster Legal Help on 1800 113 432.

To prepare for future disasters, we need proper funding and resources for existing services to meet increased legal need, manage hundreds of legal volunteers and ensure the legal sector is co-ordinated in its response.

We recently made submissions to two inquiries relating to the 2019-20 Vic #bushfires. We recommend recognition of the importance of co-ordinated and effective legal assistance following bushfires and other disasters. Read more: disasterlegalhelp.org.au/about-us/news/…
