Update by minister of health and welfare @prafulpbjp , Gujarat : Action has been taken! 6 resident doctors of GMC bhavnagar who were involved in physical torture and humiliation of orthopaedic surgery residents have been suspended for a period ranging from 6 months to 2 years and their entry completely restricted to hospital premises!

What will you do if your seniors torture you , make you murgha in OT , make you stand whole night and ask for selfie every hour to show your timing and location ? This is happening in GMC Bhavnagar , Gujarat where some animals in ortho dept are doing it with their juniors . Each one of them should be terminated and their professors and HOD should be investigated for becoming spectators ! @prafulpbjp @sanghaviharsh

That is one of major reason why most docs avoid working in govt set up! Unruly dehati pro max MFs all around who would not be bothered if there is no infra in form of sanitation, road, electricity, good hospital and schools for decades in their region and would not question their local corporator, MLA, MP or bureaucrats. Infact, most would be pissing in pants while talking to them with folded hands, but would assault with impunity on a doctor who is helpless and powerless and would have done whatever he could in prevailing conditions and third-class facilities of govt hospital! Gradually, most smaller and affordable hospitals and clinics are closing due to such instances and frightening expensive regulations, and these MFs will have no money to go to big private set up where they will be beaten black and blue if they raise hands over staff or break a property! Karma!

Would i tell you to take MBBS? Yes if your dad has more than 3 flats in major city if India with 3-4 cars in your parking or has a multi dollar business or is a 2nd or 3rd generation doctor himself. Don’t take medicine thinking you will earn and have a respectable job at the same time. 1st gen doctors will make money but only to get food for themselves. That’s it. You cannot buy a phone on your own. You won’t be able to pay rent on your own. You won’t be able to treat incase your parents fall ill. You will never be able to fund your child’s education. You might earn well once you are in 50’s

Easy to cancel exams and issue fresh dates when you have never spent years preparing for one. The mental trauma, uncertainty, and burnout are borne by students, not policymakers. Accountability must begin at the top. @dpradhanbjp @NTA_Exams how many more life will you take ?
