Beginning my first watch through of “Daredevil: Born Again”, and the first thing I see is Matt Murdock’s blinding Norwood framed in 21:9 with none of the hard-edgelord Netflix image processing.

@lenirtpls It doesn't. You're pressing a button that kills you and hoping everyone else follows. The second order concequences pale in comparison to the retardation of the decision.

@DonkeyboyDev Because of all the reasons I have already said. I cannot keep repeating myself man. You wanna pick pure self-preservation, you do you. But the consequences of the dilemma run deeper than "Maybe live or definitely live".

It’s funny because Red button pushers are free riders taking a defection strategy when Blue is the actually correct game theory rational answer. Lots of Dunning-Kruger rationalists out there.

@lenirtpls "hopefully live" Lmao. That's my whole contension with your worldview. Why pick the option where you have to trust in the kindness of strangers, and not pick the opiton that'll save you?

@DonkeyboyDev ... Well yes, kinda. You're almost there. There will always be blue voters. That fact will affect MORE people to vote blue. That's a given. You have the choice if you want to help push for blue and hopefully live, or pick red and live with the potentially disastrous consequences

@lenirtpls There will always be blue voters ergo we must force half the population to vote against their interest and increase the death toll to billions in the vain hope that every person has the same worldview as an effective allturists.

@DonkeyboyDev I'm not forcing anyone. The fact that you keep twisting the reality of the situation, should show you something's wrong with yr thinking. We blue voters have made our peace whether we win or die. There will ALWAYS be blue voters, the only way to prevent disaster is to go for 50%

@lenirtpls @ZiggenPlays @ry3564 Why would it be *my* mistake? You're actively choosing an opiton that forces other people to act in a way against their better judgement.

@DonkeyboyDev @ZiggenPlays @ry3564 But it wouldn't be our mistake. It would be yours. Can I lead you to get it? Can I? We might be getting close. You are so hung up on "It's a logical puzzle and if you choose blue, you're dumb and wrong". It's a psychological puzzle with severe consequences for all of mankind.

@lenirtpls @ZiggenPlays @ry3564 The blue mindset. If we win we're heroes for picking the suicidal opiton, if you win then you'll be burdened with our mistake.

@DonkeyboyDev @ZiggenPlays @ry3564 I'm not getting anyone to do anything, there is no communication. I'm voting blue and I'm hoping 50% of mankind is smart enough to do the same. If not, I'm dead but YOU will live through the consequences.

@DonkeyboyDev @ZiggenPlays @ry3564 You absolutely can NOT, that's the whole point. It's statistically impossible for 100% to press red. Not everyone will even want to think like that. We are proving to you that many will WANT blue to win. So the only option to save the entire world, is to go for 50% blue.

@DonkeyboyDev @ZiggenPlays @ry3564 I'm not forcing anyone to save ME. If I die, I die and I won't be around to care. We will try to save EVERYONE, for whatever reason. That's how you can get to 50%, like the poll that even got 58%. You think we "misunderstand" but we're a step ahead. It's about psychology.

@lenirtpls @ZiggenPlays @ry3564 There's virtue in choosing an opition that forces other to risk their lives due to your misunderstanding about the rules of the game?

@DonkeyboyDev @ZiggenPlays @ry3564 Yes. There is virtue in choosing blue. We've tried to tell you how already, like millions of times. It's really not that difficult.

@lenirtpls @ZiggenPlays @ry3564 >"remove the virtue out of picking blue" So it's not the same scenario then. That implies there was virtue in choosing blue to begin with.

@DonkeyboyDev @ZiggenPlays @ry3564 "remove the virtue out of picking blue" So it's not the same scenario then. You treat the "virtue" like it's a disease. For us, it's just the logical consequence of the stakes at hand.

@Rainbowfirefly2 @ry3564 >blue builds trust between all people and red doesn’t. Why would you, in a real world scenario, trust people on this scale lmao? That's where this whole moral posturing fails for me.

@DonkeyboyDev @ry3564 Depends on your win condition. Is your win condition everyone survives, or is your win condition you survive? Everyone choosing red and everyone choosing blue has the exact same outcome. But blue builds trust between all people and red doesn’t.

@Kayumi_art @ry3564 The objective could also be the personal survival of your friends and relatives, in which case red is the best opition.

@ZiggenPlays @DonkeyboyDev @ry3564 Brother I am voting blue because I know I'm NOT the only one. Y'all change the entire premise and you think you made a gotcha. Yes in your scenario the blue button is pointless. In the original scenario, it's not. Why are you even in my mentions? (Rhetorical question, muted 😚)

@DonkeyboyDev @ry3564 Actually I'd press blue out of an immense fear of what a post-red button society would look like. You're insane if you think everyone who's left will just be happy and dandy.

@DonkeyboyDev @ry3564 Red only wins always if you literally don't care about anything else other than your own survival. The moment you start placing even the slightest value into other human life, or into how society will look after a red victory wipes out all the blues, then the calculation changes

@DonkeyboyDev @ry3564 Saying that the red always wins is literally saying that you read game theory 101 and believe yourself now to be an expert, literal Dunning-Kruger. That, or you're a psychopath who doesn't even slightly care about anything beyond yourself.
