I love Scotland: the scenery, the history, and the people. What I do find cringeworthy is the SNP crowd who talk as if Scotland is some kind of colony of England. Scotland is every bit as British as England itself. Scots signed the Act of Union and played a central role in building Britain. That small minority of loud, highly political activists, often the pro-IRA, pro-SNP, pro-Palestine, Celtic fan brigade are an embarrassment to Scotland in much the same way that lefties are an embarrassment to England. Neither group represents the majority of ordinary Scots or English people, and neither reflects the best of their nations. 🏴🏴🇬🇧


Many Celtic supporters were in the stands backing Cape Verde during the Spain vs. Cape Verde match at the #2026WorldCup in Atlanta. The supporters are said to be members of a local Celtic Supporters Club that backs the team because Henrik Larsson's father was from Cape Verde.
