@DozingChopper Ton of fun, but offlined 24/7 and doorcampers, landmines, beartraps, racist guy screaming at your door. The modded life XD
English

@Willjum1 @themusicbed Email them homie. Their auto sync ID can get messed up. But they reply relatively quickly, although they are a US based company. Just screenshot the claim in your email and link the video unlisted
English

yo @themusicbed really need some help here incorrectly received a copyright strike for some licensed music and struggling to get a response back
English

@DozingChopper @Dcypled @boydy_73 @maruksp More people shoot in DayZ than dont?
I really hadn't noticed. Quick make the game more shooty so it takes away what makes it special and dies like H1Z1!
It's like you didn't read what I said. More people PVP. But the devs are not catering to that.
English

Did you know that 8 million users for whom we have data on Steam played for an average of 188 hours and paid an average of 30 USD gross in #Dayz? That means we received less than 10 cents for an hour of live online gaming, for which we host the online infrastructure and have been updating it for 10+ years.
Yet Dayz Frostline is currently being review-bombed on the same platform for being too expensive: $26.99 for "just a map," and some users demand "gimme more for less money."
Hmm. Please Please Me.

English

@DozingChopper @Dcypled @boydy_73 @maruksp Well done, you went to "agreewithme.com" to win an arguement you cant win because you are speaking for an entire group with your one opinion.
English

@TheRunningManZ @Dcypled @boydy_73 @maruksp You just argued about it not being a survival PvP game which is what we are discussing.
But this is enough X for my monthly intake.
It’s brain rot, please just argue with AI now

English

Bruh. You said
“Because it is an apocalyptic PvP game and what it is described as.”
Please tell me where it’s described as that by the devs or the original creator of the game.
That’s in what the game is to you. It is not what it is described as. It’s not that for the guys growing fruit and veg in the spawn points on maps. Or the people setting up fishing traders or the people who run around with no gun out and never shoot first etc.
It’s your story. Your story, isn’t everybody’s.
English

@TheRunningManZ @Dcypled @boydy_73 @maruksp Bruh. I could give a 100 tags for something.
I could say it’s a base building, progression based, apocalyptic, outdated mechanically adventurous sandbox game based around multiplayer aspects.
Doesn’t change the main tags are survival PvP.
Player vs player. Hence multiplayer
English

Im not dying on any hill.
PvP is an element of the game. But it’s not the only element. There is so much more to it than the way you describe it.
You suggested the devs described it like you do, I pointed out they don’t. Then you’ve blathered on ever since kinda acting like you speak for everyone when you don’t.
PvP is fun. But the game is about what happens when you meet other players and the choices you make. It doesn’t have to be PvP in the slightest. The original creator was at pains to describe his vision for the game. How you are describing it is nothing like that at all. The devs are making the original vision for the game.
I’d call it something like:
“A Multiplayer Hardcore Survival Sandbox Zombie Game” that puts you in control of choosing how you want to be/play.
Of course PvP is a big part of the game. But the devs are making a game for choices. Not trying to make a game for PvP only. There are just way better games for PvP than dayz and always will be.
English

@TheRunningManZ @Dcypled @boydy_73 @maruksp LMAO… that’s a fact.
It it wasn’t a survival PvP game it would have had a single player game mode.
It’s multiplayer so by definition is a Survival PvP game.
What a weird hill to die on man.
English

@DozingChopper @Dcypled @boydy_73 @maruksp Sorry. It really sounds like you’re trying to make the game suit you. I don’t agree with your description of the game whatsoever.
I don’t think the same as you.
English

@TheRunningManZ @Dcypled @boydy_73 @maruksp What part of I have played every part of dayz did you not read?
The things I suggested are benefits for every part of dayz and aren’t even PvP orientated.
It’s just a bad angle you’re coming from homie.
Quality of Life changes I guess mean PvP changes.
English

So say what you think. Not what everyone thinks it’s real simple.
I know plenty of people that would rather not use a gun. If you play on official even there are plenty of people prepared to talk.
You like PVP, you go on servers that suit out and out PVP. So you think everyone thinks what you do. even on official Sakhal i’m bumping into random playing in voip really regularly.
It’s far more complex than “my bubble likes X so everyone does.” Even if you did spend years doing a hardcore server. Sorry you’re saying the sky is purple.
The reality is the game is for you to decide what colour it is and play how you want. The devs absolutely should not cater to only one playstyle. They should keep fleshing out the game and let the players decide.
English

@TheRunningManZ @Dcypled @boydy_73 @maruksp I mean you can disagree but the sky is still blue.
This ain’t personal for me, but from over 30k hours in “every” single aspect of dayz as well as playing other games at a top level, and managing my own servers now. I like to think I have an idea what I’m talking about.
English

@DozingChopper @Dcypled @boydy_73 @maruksp I don’t agree. I’m just speaking for me though. Not for everyone like you.
PvP is fun but my best memories in the game are not PvP moments. They are people and adventures. It’s not just an “apocalypse PvP game” and it’s nothing like Rust.
English

@TheRunningManZ @Dcypled @boydy_73 @maruksp But dayz is a survival PvP game, same as rust just with different niches.
That is literal fact. How you choose to play in these games is entirely up to you, the same way you can talk in rust.
It’s not about opinion here, not sandboxes, both survival games orientafed around pvp
English

@TheRunningManZ @Dcypled @boydy_73 @maruksp Never asked for that and not an out and out pvper just stating facts.
I sat on a hardcore roleplay server for 2 years and has been my most enjoyable moments in DayZ.
Just being a good pvper doesn’t mean I haven’t explored every single thing dayz has to offer.
English

@Dcypled @TheRunningManZ @boydy_73 @maruksp Honestly I can’t with this 2iq shit.
Because some PvE servers is full doesn’t make it Huge. Yes it has a player base, is it a minority in comparison to the rest of DayZ player base? Yes.
I tried to reason, but my god this is enough X for me today.
English

Wrong again... there are a HUGE number of PVE only servers, they don't want pvp or relegate it to pvp zones. PLUS you clearly haven't been around since the beginning because part of DayZ, was, and Dean Hall can attest, an experiment to see if players would find meaningful interactions over killing each other in a harsh survival world. It was something he started over and over in interviews and articles.
I'll give you that modding has increased the numbers of players because it's offers a wider variety of game play, and good. It's made a base game I love more successful. But bad because then those players demand a different base game because they're used to high pop Namaslk or zero stamina or no weapon raise, or very little survival.
Concerning your comment on wolves, I want them harder, same with bears and the zombies.
English

@Dcypled @TheRunningManZ @boydy_73 @maruksp Lmaooo just because you play another device doesn’t make you spoiled. You just have limitations on said console. Not my problem.
As a PC standard, DayZ falls subpar, that’s not because anyone is spoiled goofy.
English

@DozingChopper @TheRunningManZ @boydy_73 @maruksp Your argument would mean something if it wasn't for the fact that the console community is very active and they don't and can't get the modding and maps that pc can. Each person COMPLAINING about sakhal is a spoiled PC player.
English

@TheRunningManZ @Dcypled @boydy_73 @maruksp Story building is integral for that too. Hence why rust is still classed as a survival PvP game. Both are true, but your issue is that you think I solely focus on that side. Which is not true
English

@TheRunningManZ @Dcypled @boydy_73 @maruksp That’s because DayZ has become a Survival PvP orientated game through its player base. And that’s the disconnect.
Majority player base don’t jump on to surivive against wolves. They do so against other players so by definition is a survival PvP game since it’s inception.
English

@Dcypled @TheRunningManZ @boydy_73 @maruksp It’s based off the facts of people returned to DayZ and growth over time has been shown since modding. Growth over time sustained by good quality mods. Not DayZ development, regardless of you like lightly modded or heavily modded.
Your chart in fact proved that.
English

These are all subjective... you're offering opinions, not facts. So you're making demands based on what you want and assume of others.
Sure, there are severs where they removed stamina penalties because some want that, but that very much removes loot balances. I can't simply, as a new character, out run and heavily geared character. That's not DayZ, but they've allowed and in my OPINION makes for a worse game. I keep weapon raise on my server because it forces me to be a better player and to choose my weapons wisely when doin cq fighting. The base game is brilliant on its complex simplicitic complexity. the very fact that more people are playing it and buying it after 10 years is a testament to how good it is. It's only spoiled cod and pubg fans who expect a different game the what it is.
English

@Dcypled @boydy_73 @maruksp Jesus. This is how you are not clued up. Did this graph for no reason.
Mods create sustainability, not peaks. Atleast let me talk to someone who actually understand this.
Mods create GoT which allows dayZ numbers to grow as a result. This chart means actually nothing.
English

@DozingChopper @boydy_73 @maruksp You're the minority. There are more players on official, more players who play, buy, and join the game when there are updates not mods. The game brings people, not the mods.

English

@TheRunningManZ @Dcypled @boydy_73 @maruksp I have animators giving me crazy animations and scripters designing my server in days. Not months/years.
To be content with how slow updates are and they come with almost nothing worthwhile usually is mind blowing to me.
Hence why Sahkal was in all honestly poorly implemented
English

@TheRunningManZ @Dcypled @boydy_73 @maruksp It’s easy to say that on surface I care about only PvP but I still have more hours in hardcore than most ever have.
It’s more about not being happy with the pain staking slow updates and lack of substance in them.
It’s been conditioned in this community to be happy with it too
