He’s going to raise taxes. Be under no doubt, Labour will raise your taxes £2,094 Other than the short list of taxes he just mentioned, every other type of tax rise is on the table. #BattleForNo10

@cabgirle @misskerryfitz Are we expected to? We shouldn't be voting on things like that (like we shouldn't have voted for brexit). People don't know things.

@DuddleJonathan @Yalding1066 @SocialistNHS Wraps don’t save lives. So your statement doesn’t hold water. Health professionals actions save lives if they diagnose correctly. Health inequality is an issue at the people level in the NHS.

@DuddleJonathan @Yalding1066 @SocialistNHS Tell me how that sticker saves lives? I’d love to see its medical qualifications. Next you will be telling me sewage is good for rivers as it’s a fertiliser!

@Yalding1066 @SocialistNHS Cost of a printed large van wrap is around £2200. I bet that would have been better spent on patient care

Ken Murphy is Tesco’s UK CEO and the highest paid supermarket boss. He gets £4,740,000 a year, but is registered to pay tax in the Republic of Ireland. Not a penny of his outrageous salary is collected in tax, despite almost all Tesco’s earnings coming from the UK. It’s theft.

@Mrleeebeee @BladeoftheS You've got the wrong idea there, I LIKE to have a big shop where I can get everything, and it's cheap and convenient, and can get it delivered. I DON'T like that some fool is paid too much and doesn't pay tax. Focus on the right thing.

@DuddleJonathan cool! So do you think there is any way to actually improve? There must be a way to engage NHS management with industries like software devs to design systems from scratch to be mega efficient. It will take tons of money to implement but surely that’s better than pouring tax money into sinking ship.

The UK has the most people in work, ever, and the highest taxes ever. Yet there is no money for the NHS, schools, potholes, pensions, Junior Doctors, or anything you need. Who is taking all our money? I followback

@lukos86 @HopeHibiscus @BladeoftheS Exactly, it’s just anecdotal. All these kinds of things are, I need to see data. I’m not software by the way, I’m an NHS manager, so I’ve got a pretty good idea!

@lukos86 @HopeHibiscus @BladeoftheS That's one anecdotal process in the WHOLE NHS. You can't possibly have an idea of what happens in the whole system, no one can. You can't make statements like this without something to back it up.

@LDHMarketing @LessWasteLaura You’ve just made my point for me mate. No one has an issue with 15 minute city’s. It’s the restrictions brought in to enforce them that people don’t like. We agree.

I do not understand how or why the 15 minute city/20 minute neighbourhood concept has been so controversial in the UK? It’s a brilliant idea. It’s freedom in your local area. What’s not to love? Annoyingly it’s now a political football issue.
Helena Horton@horton_official

I interviewed Carlos Moreno the inventor of the 15 minute city about his new book and why the idea has taken off in Paris but is toxic in the UK theguardian.com/cities/2024/ap…

@RyanRees @BladeoftheS You do realise that immigrants have to pay a fee to use the NHS per annum! On top of income tax and NI. Give your little racist head a wobble.

@operatebettor @DaniPhillips2k @BladeoftheS People seem to have a problem with that job. Until they need it. Just because you're white doesn't mean you won't be affected by health inequality. And how not equal women's health is, I'd have thought all women would be for that!

@DaniPhillips2k @BladeoftheS And where do you think the inefficiencies come from? Bad contracts and HUGELY overpriced items from companies supplying them. And I bet if you looked deep enough you find a conflict of interest on almost every single one of them.
