@SimTalksLFC love the bouaddi links, hes such a talent. at the end of the day we still have great players in midfield playing for us that I believe iraola will get the best out of, just need 1 or 2 good mf additions. I genuinely believe in iraola though, so I back him to profile the team well

@SimTalksLFC yeah 100% wirtz is very underrated for how much he runs. I think he ranked like 3rd for possessions won in the f3 in bundesliga, I just thnk szobos physicality is what makes him slightly better defensively as the 10, and adds that bit extra protection to the pivot.

@KM_243_ @Yovng1203 I think anyone denying barcolas quality is stupid. his goal catalogue is extremely underrated and most of the chances he misses 99% couldnt find themselves in. the real issue is balance imo.

@SimTalksLFC we need a pivot who wins 2nd balls, stops counters, and covers space for the FBs who I assume will be pretty advanced under iraola. just really worry about that front 4 ngl.

@SimTalksLFC much defensive responsibility on the pivot, and im worried we arent going to address that this window... yes its such an exciting front 4, but I want more than anything for us to find our balance again, just like we had with klopp. imo a perfect balance would be AI, DS, FW & YD

@SimTalksLFC Its not as exciting, but I just think it gives the rest of the team significantly more balance... szobo isnt the most creative, but I think we would gain alot from his running power and the extra protection for the pivot. ultimately the pivot is the crux for next season

@DFakExGoalanke Idk how people cant grasp this... why just sign superstars instead of building a dominant team with balance? klopp never had superstars in every position, but he had elite balance always, and thats exactly what we need. rio will leave in max 2 years if we block his pathway.

@DFakExGoalanke 100%... id rather keep gakpo than sign barcola, even though barcola is a world class talent. I want our squad to be balanced not just full of superstars... would much prefer we invest that money into midfield and defence where we actually need it.

This doesn't make sense because all 6 attackers you're proposing have/will get long term roles at the club. It's impossible to make it work when 4 of them are supposed to become/are world class. Building a squad that is destined to be broken up is stupid

@RitikSh77830693 @insightwszn he needs to work on it for sure. but people are writing him off wayyyy too fast imo. I wanna see how he improves under iraola. he just needs to be more aggressive with his pass and shot selection sometimes, needs to back himself more.
