He's not my "great hero". Sounds like your issue with Musk is his political views, not his wealth. You don't seem to be quite so bothered about the other multi-billionaire "tech bro's" who share your views. Just be honest and say you only approve of super-rich tech chiefs who agree with you.

@joemichalczuk People would be giving out about wasting taxpayer money if they did go and they are heading out after the QF - sure no one will really be watching apart from England games and the latter stages. That's reality.

Some previous BBC studios. Just watched their Canada coverage & absolute bullshit it makes no difference where they present it from. It was just awful being in a VR studio. It’s the World Cup: the biggest sporting event every 4 years - the national broadcaster should be there.

On the BBC some random man seemed to just appear and stand there for ages as everyone talked and didnt acknowlege him before he was introduced as the ref expert. Incredible stuff.

@Conor1960 @rte @fai Calling people "Paddystanians" shows you have the brain power of a child.

Ferriter talking shite. The Paddystinians, especially in @rte and academia, are so infected by Hamas that they can’t recognise a workable compromise. It’s all or nothing for these people. The @fai will get no revenue from the match and still have to pay for a venue.

Not one liberal politician or journalist argued that the George Floyd "I can't breathe" clip shouldn't have been shared. They only want to stop you seeing the Belfast clip because it's massively, massively inconvenient to them - 'sensitivity for victims' has zilch to do with it.

For Gary Lineker, it was “a green box in Salford”. For the BBC, it’s a state-of-the-art studio that saves precious licence fee payers’ cash. This is how the broadcaster’s decision to base staff ‘at home’ has opened a new front in the UK culture war. 📝 @mjshrimper nytimes.com/athletic/73451…

@AdamCrafton_ I'm sure you know The Telegraph picked this line for more reaction. He talks about much more in the interview.

The reason I like Roy Keane is because I have NO idea what way he leans politically. That's how a pundit should be. Gary Neville and Ian Wright are unbearable

You know what I would never do? I'd never make a joke about someone's house burning down because I don't like them or the things they said in a mayoral campaign. Even if it was Jimmy Kimmel, who is quickly becoming one of the most disgusting people in this country. The fact is Kimmel made that joke because conservatives rallied around Spencer Pratt. I hope Kimmel never has to deal with the devastation that Spencer Pratt has had to deal with since those fires. Kimmel, on the other hand, wants all of that to happen to us, and then some. A truly reprehensible colostomy bag of a human being.

They can’t even leave sport alone without turning it into a vehicle for their own ideological preoccupations. And by this I mean @rte, because Richie Sadlier would be let nowhere near a studio to comment politically if his views weren’t approved. Tax & TV Licence payer funded.
John Lee@JohnEdwardLee

First 15 minutes of @RTE2 World Cup coverage gives platform to political views of intellectual titan Richie Sadlier and co. Update on Sadlier’s Israel musings at half time? Stick to football, folks #WorldCup

@AidanMcCourt @AndrewRoy70 @rte If he did you'd be asking why he is not talking about something else. Its in the context of Ireland playing Isreal. If he was talking about points you agreed with you wouldn't care.

@AndrewRoy70 @rte When has Sadlier ever spoken a word on air about the tens of thousands of Christians being killed by Islamists in Nigeria? That you people are so selective in your expressed concern says quite a lot about you.
