Well that felt like a big shift opening the stages for a day and a half and it will be nice not having that job tomorrow. We’ve made a decent enough start to the rally and the weather over the next few days could really change things so it’s all still to play for… 🇵🇹 @TGR_WRC

Boy, am I happy to make it back to Porto and into service 😅 A bit of a setback today losing the power steering for the entire second loop, but we managed it as best we could and limited the time loss. Still firmly in contention for a top 10 finish and some valuable points 👊

We managed to keep out of trouble and keep a reasonable rhythm throughout the day. The running order seemed to affect some stages more than others, but we’re in an ok position after opening the road all day. There’s a chance the weather could change tomorrow, so let's see! #EE33

After a difficult start to the rally, we can be happy with what we've done this afternoon. Yesterday and this morning, I had a lot of understeer and couldn't really drive as I wanted. Luckily, we managed to change the car a little at midday and that helped us find a better pace. Being in the lead tonight is obviously positive, but from tomorrow onwards the weather will change and it will become more and more tricky. A big part of the rally still remains. 🇫🇷 On a connu un début de rallye difficile, mais on peut être satisfaits de ce qu'on a fait cet après-midi. Que ce soit hier ou ce matin, j'avais beaucoup de sous-virage et je n'arrivais pas à vraiment piloter comme je le voulais. Heureusement, on a réussi à faire quelques changements sur la voiture ce midi, et ça nous a aidés à avoir un meilleur rythme ensuite. C'est évidemment positif d'être en tête ce soir, mais la météo va changer à partir de demain et ça va devenir de plus en plus compliqué. A tree root on the line, just 1.5km from the end of the final stage of the day, broke the front left suspension. Despite our best efforts, it’s not repairable. Incredibly disappointing after what had otherwise been a great day managing other issues well.
