I wish there was a celebrity who was a huge fan of horror fiction and started a "Reese Witherspoon" / "Oprah" type bookclub that focused on a new horror book every month. Who fits the bill? Off the top of my head: @elijahwood, @pattonoswalt come to mind.

@WinkAuthor It's like the fear you get while on a rollercoaster. Like not the fear that it's truly happening to you but it's a vicarious thrill and so cathartic when the final girl escapes :)

I hate being scared. Anytime I've read a scary book or watched a horror movie I've been unnerved for MONTHS. How are some of y'all out there devouring horror novels/movies like they're M&M's? Are you just desensitized or do you like being perpetually terrified??

My mother has told me, once again, that I will never get a Big 5 deal for my Romantasy because "it's all so confused...there's romance but there's also violence!" and it has "dark themes" (bc some assassins get killed). I still have fulls out w 4 agents but I just want to give up

So in a few weeks I'll be travelling to Savannah for the Savannah literary festival and I'm very excited to try the FOOD. You can't really get southern cuisine in the UK - aside from KFC and I'm not sure that counts as cuisine - so what should I make sure to try while I'm over?

@EmilyDCarpenter The hotel I was at had a service charge for breakfast. I was a party of one.

American friends- please advise. If a service charge us included in the bill, do I need to tip on top of that? Sorry for the dumb question but in the UK we don't really do tipping the same as you and I don't want to offend anyone over here!
