My grandmother has been diagnosed with a moderate cognitive impairment and traumatic brain injury. It is likely that she has moderate stage Alzheimer's. Her sister died from Alzheimer's in the past year.
It is possible my mother may have it and I might, too. Memento mori.

Update: She survived the night and is stable. We are told that the clot isn't growing and will be reabsorbed in the next 3-18 months. We expect that there may be brain damage and that she will need more care. Thank you for your prayers.
