I grew up being told I speak and write well for a black girl from the township... Mind you I learned English when I was more or less 9 years old. I didn't go to some fancy kindergarten. Mother wanted me to be emmersed in my culture. So I could really KNOW myself

Consideration is Love properly expressed It says, I see you, I hear you, I remember what matters to you, and I care enough to adjust my choices with you in mind. Anyone can say they love you, but consideration proves it It shows up in how they speak to you, how they handle your heart, how they move through the relationship, and how they honor your needs WITHOUT being asked ten times. When you are considered, You feel loved But when you are not considered, you end up overcompensating, explaining yourself too much, and trying to teach someone how NOT to hurt you & also how to make you feel good when consideration should be what tells your person what you may need.

They don’t need big gestures every day. They just want to feel valued, respected and protected by the man they give their heart to. Make the call. Send the text. If you’re busy, say that. If something’s off, communicate it. If you mess up, own it. Not because she’s insecure but because consistency creates security
