@i0ki_LoL This is not 100% correct. There is times where you can get the ult sound of the enemy, the death recap can say the ult was used and you can ping it both on death recap and on the scoreboard but the ult was never used and the malzahar in this case then ulted your team right after

Random League of Legends Tip #17:
If you're uncertain if an enemy used a certain Summoner Spell or Ults, just ping it.
The text will say "Seraphine USED Flash" if it was actually used.
(Seraphine did NOT use Heal in this ss)
Use this to 100% confirm certain spells are down.

🚨 Here is the full 40 minutes of my crew and I exposing California fraud, Minnesota was big but California is even bigger... We uncovered over $170,000,000 in fraud as these fraudsters live in luxury with no consequences. Like it and share it, the fraud must STOP.
We ALL work way too hard and pay too much in taxes for this to be happening. These fraudsters have been able to defraud American taxpayers for years without any pushback from the public and politicians.
It is time to EXPOSE IT ALL and end America's fraud crisis.

Upcoming things going out:
1. Autofill Balance:
- Our initial deployment in EUW to improve autofill Matchmaking has gone quite well (it is now fully Live and chugging along)
- So far, we are seeing a dramatic reduction autofill vs primary mismatches, eg. Autofill JG vs Main JG in high MMR (Master+) go from 35% >>> 5%. ie. Players should expect >90% of games to have role assignment balance
- Outside of high MMR, this was already happening, so not much is changing.
- We're looking to roll this out in more regions.
2. Master+ LP gains
- This problem is a bit hairy, but we've gotten to the bottom of it and know what the causes are and how to fix it
- We hope to have a solve here soon that we can deploy as early as 26.5 (no promises, but this is our current target we're tracking towards)
3. Mastery Scores:
- We've heard a bunch of discussion around Mastery scores seeming wrong and we agree
- In particular short games are where this shows up the most
- We're planning some adjustments to resolve this issue, still TBD on when they go out

Rank Distribution
(going to snip out some stuff we wrote in the dev update)
- At the core, we want players of all ranks to have a similar spread of demonstrated skills and understanding across them—this means that players in Gold IV through Gold I should have a baseline understanding that when a jungler is seen top-side, they should push lane to get priority to take dragon, for example.
- We adjusted the vast majority of Ranks to make this true across the ladder
- This included putting players at the higher end of Diamond into Master (These players were likely historically already playing in games with Master players, and maybe were Master at some point)
- This left a large LP gap between the bottom of Masters and Grandmaster/Challenger however. We know this is an issue and pain point and so we want to change it in the future

Riot Games just announced they're reducing the 2XKO team size due to lower-than-expected player momentum after the PC launch and recent console release.
- ~80 devs affected (about half the team)
- Impacted staff get internal job options where possible, plus minimum 6 months' severance/notice pay
- The game will continue with a smaller, focused team prioritizing player-requested improvements
- 2026 competitive series plans remain unchanged

A few notable things coming out in 26.3!
Ranked
- We are nerfing Challenger duos
- Aegis of Valor eligibility criteria is being pushed from a C to a B
- We've seen a lot of the discussion about edge cases here. Ultimately, we still think striving to win is better than playing for KDA and losing, especially with the way the current Mastery formula works (you don't optimize Mastery by just playing for KDA and doing nothing)
- Peoples' climbs are in various states of de-sync after the usual first month of climbing. Some people are just starting their climbs now, so they will have a climbing indicator to show that their actual skill is higher than their visual rank would imply
- Streamer mode is going to make both you and your enemies anonymous when it is being used
SR Changes
- Many changes this patch to address Mid lane meta, both nerfing the T3 boots and Phase Rush for ranged
- The major changes to Mel are landing in this patch, we will be following up closely on her balance state
- Adjustments to Dusk & Dawn, as well as AP Varus Top, Ekko and Diana who are outliers with the item. We think the item is overall balanced for other champions
- Also, the requested "control wards start in role quest slot" is shipping in this patch for supports
- Finally, junglers will find it a bit easier to gank in the early game with nerfs to early faelights and yellow trinkets
Demacia Rising & Client Performance
- There are new chapters to explore this patch, including Level 3 settlements to experience!
- Additionally, there have been a variety of improvements to Demacia Rising's impact on client performance

@drewlevin @notBerrieckc This is surely because your name doesnt update if you swap place with someone in champ select. So if someone swap with "wolf" when they are "gromp" they still type as if they are "gromp" which is super confusing. So when you the report "wolf" it's the wrong person.
