@ExitVelo314 It's not unique to the NL this year.
League-wide in 2026, 3B has a 95 wRC+, SS has a 92 wRC+.
But, in 2025, league-wide was 3B at 93 and SS at 98.
In 2024, league-wide was 3B at 95 and SS at 100.
So the AL is really bucking the trend this year in general.
Yes, let's take a guy who can't even hit league average, who is only known for his defense, and move that guy to a position where you expect more offense and less range. I can't believe people used to think this clown was an insider. #stlcards
@stlfanbc7 That's interesting. Is that more of an anomaly this year? I feel like it should be.
Typically the corners are where the stronger hitters play and up the middle is tilted more towards speed, athleticism, and defense.
Missouri 5th amendment to end the income tax is a scam. I'm glad to see so many people on both sides of the aisle recognizing how harmful it really is. If it passes, sales tax will be absolutely brutal.
@MartinLovelace In all fairness, I do have concerns about Blaze defensively, but I'll take the tradeoff and keep his bat in the lineup every day over moving Winn off the position he's most qualified to play. I agree Dave is engagement farming. He's also quick to block anyone who challenges him.
@ExitVelo314 What’s wrong with Blaze Jordan staying at third base? Why in the world is this guy trying to propose ridiculous things unless he’s just engagement farming. I’m pretty sure I muted his account.
@MissesJohnJay@Politicalzilla The people who will get hurt most by this are the middle class working families. I'd love to see actual tax cuts. This isn't one.
@OberonLoto You're arguing what might happen someday. I'm asking what happens to the budget the day after the income tax revenue disappears. The math doesn't add up.
@ExitVelo314 No mandatory state tax puts MO in a different class and gives MO power.
NO state tax brings in new businesses and working people.
MO then gets responsible economic growth as we will be able to choose businesses and get more working Americans.
MO gets more house seats.
You don't have to agree with someone's religious beliefs. But dismissing every religious objection as "homophobia" isn't tolerance. It's just a different form of intolerance.
The irony is that you're accusing others of bigotry while displaying it yourself. You've already decided that anyone who follows a religious teaching you disagree with must be motivated by hatred. That's not tolerance, and it's not understanding. It's prejudice.
After three San Francisco Giants pitchers appeared in Friday’s game with Bible verses written on their Pride Night caps, MLB issued a warning that similar behavior will not be tolerated.

@thompsonian87@KICKandSTAND21@SInow It's definitely a complicated topic that I struggle to fully wrap my head around, but I try to do the best I can to treat people fairly.
@ExitVelo314@KICKandSTAND21@SInow Thats good stuff man. I love that outlook re sinners. But it does get hard quickly because its inherently condemning and patronizing. So its kind of a connection killer
@thompsonian87@KICKandSTAND21@SInow I have no use for that stuff. It honestly one of the things that drives me more towards the middle. Too much hate on both extremes. Plus, Michelle Obama really did nothing to deserve all that.
I understand and respect the individuals choice. This case i see where u are coming from. Hating or resenting pride stuff is what im talking about. Kinda like the people that get off on calling Michelle Obama a man. And believing it.
Then self-righteously calling themselves Christians. Gross stuff
Some of them are. For others, thankfully, that's in the past.
The homosexuality issue is tough because people tend to weaponize both sides. Christianity teaches that it's a sin, but it also teaches that we're all sinners and that we're supposed to love one another.
I try to honor my faith while treating people with respect. I don't have all the answers, but that's the best I can do.
@ExitVelo314@KICKandSTAND21@SInow And yet, still weird.
The religions are also busy killing each other. So not exactly the place to put your moral stock my guy
@TheWayOfWade Yeah Masyn is definitely spoiling us with that arm. I wish he could just get the offense up to league average. I don't even need it to be a plus bat with his play at short, but just get up to like a 700 OPS.
I think you're confusing "it existed" with "the Church approved of it." Lots of things have existed for thousands of years. That doesn't mean Christianity endorsed them. The question isn't whether homosexuality existed. It obviously did. The question is whether Christian teaching on it changed, and it really hasn't.
Still weird. Gay has been happening for a long long time, in positions of power and even ancient christianity. The stance today has been conflated and weaponized. Mainstream christianity has lost its way at the same magnitude of those they oppose. I love the teachings of Jesus, I dont like hypocrites and weaponizing the holy message.
@TheWayOfWade I understand how it could have read that way. I've got no issue with JJ playing either middle infield spot. He's good at short and elite at 2B.
@ExitVelo314 I guess did, that makes more sense. I was very confused. 😂
I see Masyn as a trade piece if he can’t turn it around to at least a 90-95 OPS+ guy at the dish.
Defense plays, but gets a short leash. Especially if an extension hangs in the balance.
I forget if I already bitched about Jordan Walker or not, so I'm gonna do it again just to be safe. The fact that he's #6 in all star voting is criminal. James Wood is the ONLY outfielder who deserves to be ahead of Walker. That's it. And crazy thing is Wood is currently #7.
@thompsonian87@KICKandSTAND21@SInow Just making the hat optional instead of mandatory would be such an easy fix. If you wanna wear it, great. If not, great.
@ExitVelo314@KICKandSTAND21@SInow But also, I dislike the pride thing being an outward choice by MLB on uniforms. Just seems provocative all things considered.
@thompsonian87@KICKandSTAND21@SInow Many religions are. Religious beliefs date back a long time. They didn't change. The world around them did. But in regards to the law, there has to be a way to accommodate both sides without violating anyone's rights. I believe MLB is bluring that line.
@TheWayOfWade You misunderstood what I said. I'm talking about moving Masyn Winn to 3B. That's asinine. JJ can hold his own at either middle infield spot. That isn't the problem. The problem is putting a 78 wRC+ hitter at a corner spot.
Poe’s Law, can’t tell if this is sarcasm or not. Not that I think JJ should be the everyday shortstop, but:
17% above average at the plate
40 points above league average OBP
Top 1 percentile defender
Top 6 percentile baserunner
Top third percentile offense
Second in WAR at his position by a hair, playing in a far less hitter friendly park than Turang
Do or don’t you know ball, bro?
