Non-Investigator Tweeps, don't roll your eyes. Part of the secret of any Investigator's success is that, yes, many bad guys are in fact really, really stupid about OPSEC. OSINT catches as many or more miscreants as knocking on doors. No exaggeration.

While reading about the infamous crooked lawyers Howe and Hummel I came across a reference to a con game that was new to me: the “sick engineer” scam. My fraud library had nothing and neither did Google, etc. But a book text search and found the info. #OSINTtips #fraud
