@DayZ How did we come to this? It seems guys were pretty good at keeping the game stable before the 1.29 fiasco.

📢Hey Survivors, We want to give you an update regarding the patches planned for Update 1.29. We have decided to cancel the hotfix. This is mainly so we can take more care and caution in addressing the pressing issues you have reported. Instead, we are planning to put the patch on the Experimental branch first, beginning with Steam PC Experimental next week. This PC Experimental phase will allow us to evaluate the game's performance and stability before rolling the patch out more broadly across all platforms. It will then be followed by an Xbox version in the coming weeks, as submission timelines on the platform are currently longer than usual with the introduction of experimental versions on new platforms. The stable update will be released across all platforms, including PlayStation, at the same time. Further fixes, along with additional content, are also planned as part of the Road to Badlands update later down the line. We will continue to share updates as we go. Thank you very much for your patience.

Not just drones anymore. Ukraine deployed Ukrainian-developed Flamingo cruise missiles and drones for a prolonged combined strike on VNIIR Progress, a critical military electronics plant in the Russian city of Cheboksary, some 600 miles away. Flamingos are clearly getting better at striking targets.

@DayZ I love that you are adding new mapz. However, Chernars sets a high bar, but the previous two maps were a letdown, despite having so much potential. Desert is the least attractive terrarin for me, but hopefully you learned your lessons from the previous DLCs.

Hey Survivors, Just an update on 1.29: we are in the final stretch and are in the process of submitting builds to the relevant platforms. We hope to have the update out within the next few weeks. We will let you know the exact release date once all submissions pass. A full wipe is still planned across all platforms. We will also release the "DayZ in 2026" article alongside the 1.29 update. @HuntShowdown I feel like it could have been avoided, but thanks for a quick reaction.

Hunters, We have been paying close attention to your feedback regarding the newly introduced All Ears Trait over the last two days. We agree that the advantage it provides is currently too significant and negatively impacts the meticulous sound design of Hunt: Showdown 1896, which we all cherish. With that in mind, we have decided to temporarily remove the Trait from the game, while the team investigates the next steps. This will happen as part of a downtime update early next week. The rebalanced Trait may return at a later point in Devil's Trail. As always, we appreciate your feedback regarding how we can improve it. This update will also see Bounty Clash fully restored, alongside several other minor fixes. We genuinely hope that you are enjoying Devil’s Trail so far. If you have not yet entered the game, this weekend may be the final opportunity to experience the All Ears Trait in its current state, so do not miss out. Happy hunting!
