It's disheartening that so few junior staff in particular feel they can't disclose their diagnosis It's important to remember that even in work #Autistic people face many barriers- it's not just about getting the job, it's about feeling supported to succeed in the role!

70% of employed autistic people have shared that they are autistic with someone at work but only 30% have disclosed it to HR. 77% (aged 35 - 44) and 79% (senior roles) disclose their diagnosis but disclosure drop to 60% for more junior staff. #globalneurodiversityatworksurvey

Interesting to hear on #bbcgms this morning- the report by @AutismScotland and @scottishautism found that 96% of people surveyed support the need for an autism comissioner ⬇️

We've completed part 1 of our Fair Work Autism research (surveys!), now we're onto part 2 - follow up interviews with autistic people and with employers to gain deeper information. I had my follow up interview (autistic person) with Jos and it was great
