At the Fall River Justice Center this morning, Aleciana Gonzalez shared a poem that details her struggles in getting justice for the sexual abuse that she reported as a child. Aleciana first reported the allegations of child rape against her biological father in 2007. It was investigated; however, the District Attorney at the time did not proceed with charges. Aleciana Gonzalez and her family also reported the alleged child rape in 2024, and again, the DA’s office declined to press charges.

A frustrated ICE agent in Boston reports that a group of anti-ICE agitators blew their operation on Feb 12, 2026, to arrest a Salvadoran fugitive who is wanted in his home country on an arrest warrant for child r*pe and was living near a Boston elementary school. ICE agents report that they were in their vehicles surveilling the target's residence in East Boston, waiting for him to come out, but the ICE team was quickly surrounded by activists who blew whistles, cursed at them, and said they were traumatizing children at the nearby school down the street. Their cover was blown, the whole neighborhood was alerted, and the alleged child r*pist wasn't arrested. ICE reports it took an additional four weeks to arrest the fugative - he was arrested March 10th. ICE reports a man wanted for child r*pe was on the streets four weeks longer than he should have been because activists interfered without knowing who they were protecting. The target’s name is Walter Roberto Vides-Ortez, a Salvadoran national who reportedly crossed the Texas border illegally in 2016, the same year that El Salvador issued an arrest warrant for him for the offense of child r*pe. He was arrested in an Amazon worker uniform.
